SKINCARE & NAIL POLISHES:

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

Nature Republic rice and tea tree masks

Freebies! The sample foam cleanser is a pretty decent size. You get a free Snail Therapy mask when you buy two of their regular masks. Nice.

Etude House Happy Teatime Green Tea cleansing foam

VO5 moisturizing shampoo in Strawberries & Cream

The LUSH holiday paper bag is so cute and clever!

The LUSH holiday collection was fantastic. Lots of boxed gift sets and new products! The entire store smelled like Christmas!

I got the cheapest gift set which came with two soaps.

Caronia Fast-dry Top Coat and Bobbie Basic Nail Hardener

Etude House LUCIDarling hexagonal glitter nail polishes

They look very similar to Deborah Lippmann polishes, that’s why I got them.

Very cheap locally made polishes but with extremely pretty colors! Comparable to high-end nail polishes

Milani nail lacquer in Well Dressed

Sassy nail polishes (I got two of the same color because I liked it so much; their bottles are so tiny!)

Chic nail polish in Neon Pink

Bobbie nail polish in Aqua

Skin Food nail polish (from a Buy 1 Get 1 promo; the other one’s with my sister already)
Aaaand that’s all! I absolutely need to cut down on my makeup purchases this year. -_-

EYES & FACE

Shu Uemura x Wong Kar Wai collection “Burning in Water” palette
Very grateful to my parents for getting me this palette as a Christmas gift! I’ve wanted it ever since I saw pictures of it online. It is even more gorgeous in real life.

The photo on the packaging changes when you tilt it. So cool.

It comes with 4 eyeshadows, 1 cream blush, 1 powder blush/eyeshadow highlighter, 1 double-ended sponge tip applicator and 1 double-ended blending brush.

Beauty Cosmetics 88 warm palette and 120 cool & warm palette (They’re generic eyeshadow palettes, kinda like Coastal Scents, BH Cosmetics, etc.)

88 warm palette

120 cool & warm palette

MAC Melba blush (bought this because of Sarah Hawkinson; it looks warmer and more peach in real life)

MAC Studio Finish concealer in NW25 (It’s actually a bit darker than my skin tone, but it covers up well, nonetheless. It worked perfectly when I had a tan)

Landmark Trinoma face brushes (These brushes are seriously top notch. And so cheap as well! The flat top kabuki brush is the best brush I’ve ever used in my life, and it was only P139!)

elf Zit Zapper & Concealer collection

My tita from Belgium kindly gave me these Bourjois goodies. :)

blush in no. 34 Rose D’or (shimmery pink and gold)

Bourjois Mineral Radiance pressed powder in 04 beige medium

Too dark for my face and too light as a bronzer :/ I just keep it in my makeup traincase for future photo shoots.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in No. 53 Light Beige (favorite foundation so far)

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Iced Mocha, Oyster and Yogurt (Got these from my friend Yana. I also bought four NYX Round lipsticks from her, but I forgot to take pictures of them :()
Next post: skincare products and nail polishes!

LIP PRODUCTS (my 2011 obsession):

Caved in and got myself some MAC lipsticks! I always pick the crazy colors.

Korean Candy (Sheen Supreme), Captive (Satin), Fusion Pink (Amplified) & Violetta (Amplified)

Sleek True Colour lipstick in Heartbreaker (Matte)

YSL Gloss Pur in 03 Pure Coral (bought this and a box of Guerlain Meteorites, which I forgot to take a photo of, from my friend Danee :)

Etude House LUCIDarling Fantastic Rouge lipstick in No. 5

Etude House Petit Darling Lips in PK005

Shawill lipstick in No. 12 (super dark and vampy!)

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Doll Pink

Careline lip gloss in a beautiful dark red color (My little sister gave this to me as a Christmas gift, and I was so happy because it’s exactly the kind of lip gloss I want. Very opaque and has a nice fruity smell)

Models Own Neon Lip & Face Paint in Neon Pink

I haven’t been posting a lot recently because of my thesis and Running Man marathons, but fortunately, I had a bit of time this afternoon to take pictures of things I hauled last year (happy new year, btw). I’m going to start with non-beauty related items first.

black brogues for school (I forgot the shoe brand :p) I always buy new school shoes every semester because they always get ruined.

I got this lovely white chain bag w/ faux ostrich texture from my batchmate Didith for only P300. Steal.

I like anything with gold accents.

lol, my blockmates influenced me to play this. We played almost everyday in school, and all of us eventually got a set each because WE WERE THAT OBSESSED.

It was my first time buying a planner right before the new year, and I chose the Moonleaf one because a.) It’s affordable and b.) The layout is nice and simple. Totally did not regret getting this one. Also, I’m planning on painting the cover another color because I don’t really like that it’s dirt-prone white.

my favorite page (because it’s my birth month) /biased

books I got from the Manila International Bookfair 2011; still haven’t read any of these :/ maybe in summer…

Lastly, my sister got me this cute cellphone pouch for Christmas. She also got me a gorgeous bloody red lip gloss which I will include in my next post. :)
